In My Mailbox (3/18/12)

In My Mailbox is a weekly event hosted by The Story Siren, and it's all about talking about what you got in your mailbox each week!

IN MY ACTUAL  MAILBOX

I am delighted to inform  you that I did get some FANTASTIC things in my mailbox this week!

-Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins
-Another Hex Hall (for my giveaway winner!)
-Demonglass by Rachel Hawkins
-Spell Bound by Rachel Hawkins
-New Girl by Paige Harbison

FROM THE LIBRARY

Lots of goodness this week!

-Angel Fire by L. A. Weatherly. I was really excited about this when I first got it (I LOVED Angel Burn) but now that I've read the synopsis and learned there's probably going to be a love triangle, I'm more reluctant. A love triangle is the LAST thing I want in this series.

-Every Other Day by Jennifer Lynn Barns. I loooove her other books, and this one sounds SO COOL.

-Angelfire by Courtney Allison Moulton. Not to be confused with the other Angel Fire from this week. I finished this one last night/this morning, and it was SO GOOD. Review to come!

-Tiger's Quest by Colleen Houck. Read this one already, too. First half was great. Second half shattered my soul.

-Tiger's Voyage by Colleen Houck. Read this one. Enjoyed it so much more than Tiger's Quest. Can't WAIT for the next one!!

-Pandemonium by Lauren Oliver. ANOTHER one I've finished. People keep calling the end a terrible cliffhanger, but it was my favorite part of the book! Awesome ending (even though I KNEW it was going to happen, lol) and I'm looking forward to what comes next!

-A Life of Joy by Amy Clipston. Book four in the Kauffman Amish Bakery series, a series me and my mom have been reading together.

Don't know where Tiger's Quest and A Life of Joy scampered off to when it came time for picture taking...

ON MY KINDLE

-The Forever Girl by Rebecca Hamilton. I don't know much about this book, but I won it by playing a game on Twitter, and it seems interesting!

Please excuse the glares in the pictures, my camera decided to get all flashy today :)

What's in your mailbox this week?

    1. haha yeah, THAT was an...INTERESTING day. ("What? No, I didn't spend hours at a time with my face pressed up against the window! That's RIDICULOUS! Heh, heh. I, uh, would never do that.")

I've already read all of them (well, I just read Spell Bound this week) and they're all SO.DANG.GOOD. I'm definitely rereading HH and DG soon!

    2. Ahhh, NEEEEED these books NOOOOOOW! (There are a lot of books that I would say that about, and I have no time to read any of them. I hate my life sometimes.)

    3. I KNOW. There aren't enough hours in the day for all the books that deserve to be read :(

  2. I still need to read New Girl. I loved Hex Hall and Demonglass but don't think I'll read Spell Bound anytime soon. Read a big fat spoiler I'm sad about and don't really care to read it now. Every Other Day sounds good! Been meaning to read that sometime. Pandemonium is amazing but such a killer cliffhanger. I still need to read Tiger's Curse but I hate love triangles. Heard there is a killer one in that series.

    1. Oh, yeah, I believe I saw on Goodreads where you saw that spoiler :( I still can't believe someone just posted that, very uncool. But I will tell you the book itself is very good, in my opinion.

Agh, the Tiger's Curse love triangle is driving me crazy. I could rant about it for days, because it seems to me very obvious which guy the girl loves more...but I'll shut up before I spoil.

  3. You got some great books this week. Obviously, I'm already SUPER DUPER excited for Hex Hall!!! :D

I really liked "Angelfire", and am hoping my library will get "Wings of the Wicked" soon-ish. *fingerscrossed*

As soon as I'm done with my library books, I'll get "Delirium" for sure. I don't think they'll have "Pandemonium" yet - my library's a little bit slow - but I've only heard good things about this series.

    Very nice haul, Mag! :)

    1. Yay! Hex Hall!

Angelfire was great! I want my (also super slow) library to get Wings of the Wicked too, lol

Personally, I liked Delirium waaaay better than Pandemonium! But I still have hope for Requiem!
