Geek Chic This Week (6/10/12)

Geek Chic This Week is a feature here at Geek Chic to talk about the books I received this week, whether bought, borrowed, or fallen from the sky! It's inspired by the Story Siren's In My Mailbox.

Hey everybody! Before I get to the books, just for a heads up, my posting/internet presence might be a little sparse this next week, because I'm going out of town Thursday (my birthday!) to go to my cousin's wedding! I'll still be around, just probably not as much. In case you were wondering.

Anyway, time for books!

FROM THE LIBRARY

-FANG by James Patterson. Yes, it's for the Max Ride Reading Challenge! But I bet you guessed that already.

IN MY MAILBOX

Got some super awesome stuff this week!!

-Mirage by Kristi Cook. SOOOO GOOD! If you haven't read this one yet, go fix it. Immediately. Or read Haven, the first book, if you haven't already (:D)

-Divergent by Veronica Roth. YAAAAY! I hadn't owned this one yet, even though I have Insurgent. I won it in a giveaway from Julianna @ the Reviews News. THANK YOU SO MUCH, JULI!!!!! (It's signed, too!)

FROM NETGALLEY

This week I finally started using NetGalley, and I got approved for some awesome books!!

-Spark by Brigid Kemmerer. I absolutely ADORED Storm (see my review here), and so I was SO EXCITED to get Spark! It was excellent as well! Keep an eye out for my review (:D)

-Palace of Stone by Shannon Hale. It's been a while since I read Princess Academy, but I really enjoyed it and am looking forward to seeing what happens next in Palace of Stone.

-Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry. This one sounds super awesome! I just started it last night.

-The Goddess Legacy by Aimee Carter. Another awesome looking one!

Huge thanks to Harlequin, Kensington, and and Bloomsbury Children's Books for giving me the opportunity to read these!!

So what did you get in your mailbox this week? Leave me links to your book-sharing posts!!

    1. The Goddess Test series is pretty cool! I might have liked Test a smidge more than Interrupted, but I'm looking forward to seeing what's up with the gods in Legacy :D

    1. Maximum Ride really is great! To be honest, I think the first few are a bit better than the later books, but they're all worth a read, in my opinion!
