A threat from the past could destroy the future. And the clock is ticking...
Kaleb Ballard's relentless flirting is interrupted when Jack Landers, the man who tried to murder his father, timeslips in and attacks before disappearing just as quickly. But Kaleb has never before been able to see time travelers, unlike many of his friends associated with the mysterious Hourglass organization. Are Kaleb's powers expanding, or is something very wrong?
Then the Hourglass is issued an ultimatum. Either they find Jack and the research he's stolen on the time gene, or time will be altered with devestating results.
Now Kaleb, Emerson, Michael, and the other Hourglass recruits have no choice but to use their unusual powers to find Jack. But where do they even start? And when? And even if they succeed, it may not be enough...
The follow-up to Hourglass, Timepiece blends the paranormal, science fiction, mystery, and suspense genres into a nonstop thrill ride where every second counts.OOH OOH OOH! Have you read Hourglass? You have to read Hourglass. I love that book so dang much, and I absolutely can't wait to see more of Michael, Emerson and Hourglass in Timepiece. AND HAVE YOU SEEN THAT COVER? It's so awesome!
What are you waiting for this week?
(:D)

I'm dying to read this book! I was so excited to know is from Caleb's PoV!! Awesome choice. Here is my Wow: http://wordsfeelingssilence.blogspot.com/2012/02/waiting-on-wednesday-grace-mercy-by.html
ReplyDeleteIs it really? I wondered because of the synopsis, but I didn't know it really was! Cool :)
DeleteI'm super excited for Kaleb's POV as well! I wasn't that excited until I found out about it. I love Kaleb! Totally Team Kaleb although obviously I guess she chose boring Michael. But I'm still very excited to see things through his eyes. He was a great character! Thanks for visiting My WOW!
ReplyDeleteHm, I never really got Kaleb as a love interest for Emerson. He just kind of seemed to like/love her from the start without any real reasons, unlike Michael. But that's just my opinion. I still love the guy, and of course to each their own :)
DeleteI still haven't read Hourglass but I've heard a lot of good things about this series! Great pick :)
ReplyDeleteIt's really great, you should definitely give it a try!
DeleteSounds interesting! I'll have to read Hourglass first though! Great pick!
ReplyDeleteIt is! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteAaaahhh! I want to read this one RIGHT NOW!!! I can't wait. Do you hear that, Myra McEntire???? I CAN'T WAIT!! Okay, I'll stop now. ;)
ReplyDeleteI loved Hourglass so much and the covers of both books are gorgeous! Great pick - I've actually been thinking about using this for a WoW one day, too! This reminds me - I borrowed Hourglass from a friend, so I need to buy it ASAP! ;)
Yeah, I know! I'm contemplating checking Hourglass out from the library to reread before Timepiece, but there's just SO MANY BOOKS on my TBR list I feel bad rereading a lot of stuff, lol
DeleteYa know I haven't read the others in this series. I will get to it one day...I will!
